Morning Announcements:
• Cafeteria News
Students — please remember to sit on the appropriate side of the cafeteria during your lunch period! Mrs. Gordy and Mrs. Lawrence will be writing detentions for those that choose to sit on the wrong side of the cafeteria.

Reminder: No flavored water, sport drink, or juice drinks will be allowed into the building after lunch!

• CD Players, MP3 Players, & iPods
You must put away your music players as soon as you get off of the school bus in the morning before you enter the school. If we see your music device, it will be taken away from you. You will not get it back until the end of the school year!

• Cheerleading
Be in room 103 at 2:35 this afternoon for tryouts. Do not be late.

• Band/Music News
6th Grade Band: 1st hour - percussion; 3rd hour - brass

J-Jazz will meet after school on today.

• Math Counts
Do you like math? Do you like to solve problems? Would you like to compete with other math students from other schools? Come to the Math Counts meeting Wednesday after school in room 215.

• Dress Code
Students — you may not wear shorts or capris now as a part of your uniform.

T-shirts worn beneath your polo shirt must be either white or the same color as your polo shirt. No exceptions!

Also, sweat pants & cargo pants are not allowed as part of Jefferson's dress code!

No more free uniforms will be issued from the main office! Sweatshirts are now on sale for $10 each.

Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110.
