Students — please remember to sit on the appropriate side of the cafeteria during your lunch period! Mrs. Gordy and Mrs. Lawrence will be writing detentions for those that choose to sit on the wrong side of the cafeteria.
Main Entree: Mini Corn Dogs & Tator Tots
Chips will be sold to 6th & 7th graders. 8th grade will not get chips today or any other day until they learn to throw their gum in the trash and not on the lunch trays!
Reminder: No flavored water, sport drink, or juice drinks will be allowed into the building after lunch!
• Lunch Procedure
We will be practicing our new procedure for entering the building after lunch again today. When the whistle blows, line up in the assigned areas. You must come in quietly keeping your hands and feet to yourselves.
• Halloween Dance
The next dance will be our Halloween Dance on October 20th. Any student with more than 2 office visits [bus referrals, majors, and/or minors] will not be allowed to come to the dance. If you have been suspended from school, you will not be allowed to attend the dance.
• Picture Day
Picture day is October 12th. You must wear your uniform.
• Beta Club News
7th & 8th grade Beta Club members will meet today at lunch. Bring in containers for Box Tops for Education.
• Band/Music News
6th Grade Band: full band tomorrow 3rd hour

IMEA students - practice tonight after school. If you are going Monday, Mrs. Charneski needs to see you tonight.
• Dress Code
This is the last week that you will be allowed to wear shorts! On Tuesday, October 10th, you must begin wearing long pants.
Students — T-shirts worn beneath your polo shirt must be either white or the same color as your polo shirt. No exceptions!
Also, sweat pants are not allowed as part of Jefferson's dress code!
No more free uniforms will be issued from the main office! Sweatshirts are now on sale for $10 each.
Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110.
