Students — please remember to sit on the appropriate side of the cafeteria during your lunch period! Mrs. Gordy and Mrs. Lawrence will be writing detentions for those that choose to sit on the wrong side of the cafeteria.

Azieonna Snow is the lucky winner in the "Find the Jaguar" contest this week. Azieonna found the jaguar with the poster of the Hallway Expectations.
Be on the look-out for the next jaguar sighting!
• Progress Reports
Students — you will receive your progress report today at the end of 7th hour.
• Boys Basketball
There will be an open gym for 7th & 8th grade boys on Monday, September 25th, at 2:40 PM. This is only for 7th & 8th grade boys!
• Band/Music News
6th Grade Band: 1st hour - saxophones; 3rd hour - percussion.
J-Jazz will meet Monday after school.
• Locker Combinations
DO NOT PRESET YOUR LOCKER COMBINATION! When you do this, you are leaving your locker open to anyone getting in to it. Memorize your combination!
• Dropping Off
Students: please tell your parents that you may not be dropped off in the bus area on Allis Street. All students must be dropped off on the 14th Street side of the school. This is the street closest to the gym entrance.
Reminder: everyone needs to keep his/her hands and feet to himself/herself. Lately there has been unacceptable behavior in the halls and outside on the playground. Pushing, shoving, kicking, and punching will not be tolerated.
• Dress Code
Students — T-shirts worn beneath your polo shirt must be either white or the same color as your polo shirt. No exceptions!
Also, sweat pants are not allowed as part of Jefferson's dress code!
Teachers — if there is a student in violation of the dress code, please fill out a minor referral and call for an escort to room 110.
• Cell Phones
Please remember that all cell phones must be in your lockers. You may not have them out during the school day. If you are seen with your cell phone, it will be taken away from you. A parent will have to come to school to retrieve your phone from the main office.
