WELLNESS WAKEUP CALL

Broccoli, kale, and Brussel sprouts come from plants that are cousins to each other, and have similar flavors. In the kale plant the leaves grow big and that is the part of the plant that we eat. In Brussel sprouts, buds along the stem, and we eat these buds and call them Brussel sprouts. They look lie miniature cabbages! In the broccoli plant, the flower grows particularly big and we eat the flowers.

DRESS CODE

At JMS, we follow and enforce the District Dress Code Policy. Therefore, “hats, caps, bandannas, sweatbands, sunglasses, pajama pants, slippers, or shoes with wheels attached to the bottom shall not be worn in the buildings.”

All earbuds and headphones must be removed and placed in your pocket or binder once you enter the building. You may not wear them around your neck. You may not wear them under your clothing. They will be taken away from you.

Students may NOT take photos or videos while on the school grounds. There are several JMS students who may not be photographed or videoed by law. If you are asked to stop or asked to surrender your phone, you must comply. If you do not, your parent/guardian will be called and will have to come to school.
