Tomorrow's Breakfast ~ Omelets with Hash Browns
7th & 8th grade students ~ If you want to eat breakfast, please go to the cafeteria doors immediately after you get off of your bus. Students who come to the cafeteria at 7:50AM will not be admitted unless the office verifies that your bus arrived late.
Please take all lunch money for your lunch account to the cafeteria at breakfast time.
If you have not turned in your blue lunch application, the deadline is tomorrow. Starting Monday, we will be charging for meals.
Make sure you are picking up after yourself both in the cafeteria and on the playground. Use the trash cans provided. Don't litter!
Congratulations to the 6th & 8th grade students for their excellent cafeteria behavior! 7th grade students ~ please mind your manners in the lunch line, at your table, and be mindful of your tone. If inappropriate behavior continues, you will have a silent lunch and have to earn back chocolate milk.
Remember ~ if you are wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your uniform polo shirt, the long-sleeved shirt must be the same color as your uniform polo shirt.
Also, if you wear a short-sleeved t-shirt under your uniform polo shirt and it is a different color than your uniform polo shirt, that t-shirt should not be showing at the bottom of your uniform polo nor should it be showing at the bottom of the sleeves of your uniform polo. Make sure you tuck in the t-shirt.
• Cheerleading ~ Cheerleading tryouts will be held today. Please change and meet by the gym doors directly after school!
All orders and money should have been turned in by now. Delivery date is set for October 15th. If you still have order forms, please get them to Mrs. P in room 109 as soon as possible today!
All 6th grade students must have a physical. Please check your book bag and locker & turn in the physical form as soon as possible.
SNACK ATTACK CART
The Snack Attack Cart is back! We will be selling snacks immediately after school at the library doors in the main lobby. Everything sells for $1 per item. Stop by after school on your way out of the building & buy a snack!
Congratulations to Breann G. for turning in her summer reading log and winning the $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble!
I GOT CAUGHT READING!
We will continue to reward students for being readers. Teachers will be handing out "I got caught reading!" tickets to those students who are found reading during the day. Put your first and last name on the ticket and put it in the correct bucket in the cafeteria. At the end of first quarter, one lucky winner will be drawn for a prize!
PAWS FOR READING
PAWS for Reading is starting up again. The grade level with the most minutes read for the month of September will earn an extra recess.
Remember to update your reading logs in your binders! Any reading you do counts. Record SSR minutes, class-time reading, and out of school reading ~ it all counts!
BACK TO SCHOOL DANCE
Our first dance of the school year will be held on Friday, September 10th from 6-8PM. Tickets will cost $3 if you buy in advance & $5 if purchased at the door. Tickets will be sold today during all lunch shifts.
Something new ~ Karaoke! Come to the dance and have fun singing along to your favorite song!
