We would like to thank all of our families for coming out to Science Night. The evening was full of fun learning activies for all of our parents and students to enjoy. The activities consisted of experimenting with exploration of gravity, fingerprints, and fossils, states of matter, and a tall tower construct. There was a lot of competitiveness in the tower build from the parents, almost more than our students. It was quite enjoyable to see our families unwind and have fun and laughs enjoying each others company. A special thanks to our invited guest Professor Richard Stokes for coming out and showing our students the different stages of dry ice. Students enjoyed the festivities at the end of having pizza and a good old dance party to top it all off. We would also like to take the time out to thank Ms. Barnard, Ms. Rogers, and all of our amazing staff in attendance. Moments like these are what we strive for here at Laketown: learning, family, and fun!
