Tutoring - Tutoring is available in the library Monday-Thursday from 3:45-4:30. If you need help in any subject, the time to get it is now. Please arrive prepared and on time.

Detentions - Please make sure you serve all assigned detentions within 24 hours of receiving it. You have three options to serve your detentions per day; before school, lunch, or after school. Over-due detentions will be posted in the Window of the North Office.

Yearbook - The 2012 Lan-Hi is on sale now! A limited number of books will be printed, so to get your hands on your own copy, reserve your copy now. You can order your yearbook 24/7 at jostensyearbooks.com or at school in Room 313, the main office, or during A lunch from today until Monday, March 26, for $50.00.

Mass Transit Buses - Springfield Mass Transit will only honor free bus tickets if students are picked up in front of Lanphier. Any other stop, including the 9th and North Grand stop, will cost $1.25 unless you have a yellow
pass. LHS free bus tickets will not be accepted at any other other location except in front of Lanphier on Eleventh street.

All AP students - Any student who has signed up to take AP Exams must have their money turned in to Ms. Vogt in the Guidance Office by Monday, March 26, 2012. The cost of EACH AP EXAM is $87.00, and checks should be made payable to Lanphier High School. Financial support may be available for students who qualify. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Vogt during in the Guidance office or during the lunch shift.

Football - Attention all freshman interested in playing football next year. There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday, March 22, after school in Room 205. See Coach Nikson for additional details.

Blood Drive - All NHS members need to sign up to work at the next blood drive. See the list outside Room 110. The blood drive is Monday, April 16. Students, please sign up to donate with Mr. Covey in Room 110. You must be at least 16 and weigh at least 110 pounds to donate. Please ask your friends and family to donate. If they donate at work or at the blood center, all they have to do is say they are donating for Lanphier High School for the high school blood challenge.

The Springfield Urban League will be sending a bus to this year's Black Men of Honor College Fair, next Saturday March 24. There will be several Universities in attendance. Interested students must be enrolled in 21st Century. For more information to either sign-up for the college fair or to enroll in 21st Century please see Miss Rena or Mrs. ReRe in Room 45.
