Show Choir - There will be show choir auditions this Thursday, Aug. 23rd right after school in room 228, across from the Library. Bring a song to sing; we will teach you a dance. See you there!!
Attention Sophomores and Juniors - PSAT Testing will be held on October 17, 2012, at Lanphier High School. The PSAT will be given to interested sophomores and juniors on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012, from 8:24 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The deadline for PSAT test registration is September 20, 2012. Any sophomore or junior who wishes to take the PSAT should register in the Guidance Office. There is a $14.00 fee (cash or check made payable to Lanphier High School). See Ms. Vogt for more information regarding PSAT test registration.

Seniors - Lifetouch will be here Tuesday, August 28, to take yearbook pictures for any senior who was not photographed in July. Any senior retakes will be this day as well. The sitting fee is $10 and must be paid before pictures are taken. Even if you are not getting senior pictures, please have you picture taken. You will need this to get an id and be in the yearbook.

Spanish Club - Applications are now available outside room 240. You do not have to be in a Spanish class or speak Spanish to be in Spanish Club.

SGA - There will be a meeting Thursday, August 23rd right after school in Mr. Metzke's room, 250.

Students - If you haven't purchased a parking permit, you need to by tomorrow, August 22nd. Permits are available in room 250 for $30. Cash is great, checks are fine too. Checks can be made out to Lanphier High School. You can not park in either the North Grand nor the Converse lots without a permit. You can not park directly in front of the baseball stadium. That is private property. Towing will begin tomorrow. Towing costs are $125 at the owner's expense. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Metzke in room 250. Do not part in the teacher parking lot, you will be towed in this lot.

Flags - Anyone interested in being on the flag line can audition after school today immediately after school. Come to room 116. No experience is required.

Reminder - Just a reminder from Officer Groth, to all staff and students............. You may not use a cell phone while driving in a school zone. With the start of the school year we have a lot of extra officers in the area and they will be watching for this violation.
