Vote - Any student who will be 18 by November 6th and is interested in registering to vote should see Mr. Roberts in room 212. You will need two forms of identification including a drivers liscence, state ID, or social security card. The deadline to register is October 9th.

Homecoming - Planning on attending the homecoming dance? Tickets for the dance will be sold BEFORE school on Thursday and Friday of this week in Ms. Cravens' room 105, Ms. Pochynok's room 304 and Ms. Davis' room 249. Tickets will be sold AFTER school on Thursday and Friday in Ms. Cravens' room 105 and Mrs. Pochynok's room 304. Tickets are $10.00 a piece if you purchase before the dance and $15.00 at the door.

Senior Class - On Wednesday, October 3rd, seniors will have an opportunity to attend the First Annual Career Fair, which will be held in the morning and the Capital Area Education Fair which will take place in the afternoon. Separate permission slips will be required for these events and may be picked up from Ms. Vogt during the lunch shifts. Permission slips are due back to Ms. Vogt by Monday, October 1st. No parent phone calls will be accepted.

Scholastic Bowl - Members and anyone wishing to join there will be meeting today after school in room 239.

Volleyball - Lanphier High School is host to the City Volleyball Tournament; today Lanphier battles Southeast. Starts at 6 pm. T-Shirts are available for purchase: See Coach Wible.

The Roar - Get those quarters ready!! The Roar staff has been hard at work since the first day of school writing, editing, and placing articles. Our first edition of the 2012-2013 LHS Roar is finally ready and will be sold during 1st hour today. Be sure to get your very own copy for only 25¢.

Superintendent Roundtable - The Superintendent Roundtable Commission Group will not have their first meeting today. The first meeting will be Tuesday, October 30th, 4:00 pm at 1900 W. Monroe.

Seniors - Senior baby pictures and quotes are now being accepted. Items may be placed in Ms. Thompson's mailbox in the Main Office, given to a yearbook staffer, or given to Ms. Thompson in Room 313. Please make sure to include your first and last name on anything submitted along with your first hour room number. Baby pictures will be returned once these pages have been submitted to Jostens. The last day to turn in these items is Monday, November 26, 2012, by the end of the school day.

National Honor Society- Induction will be Monday, October 22, 2012. All members are expected to be there. Families and friends are invited, also.
