Superintendent Roundtable - The first meeting will be Tuesday, October 30th, 4:00 pm at 1900 W. Monroe.

Seniors - Senior baby pictures and quotes are now being accepted. Items may be placed in Ms. Thompson's mailbox in the Main Office, given to a yearbook staffer, or given to Ms. Thompson in Room 313. Please make sure to include your first and last name on anything submitted along with your first hour room number. Baby pictures will be returned once these pages have been submitted to Jostens. The last day to turn in these items is Monday, November 26, 2012, by the end of the school day.

National Honor Society- Induction will be Monday, October 22, 2012. All members are expected to be there. Families and friends are invited, also.

Girls Basketball - Try-outs for the girls JV and V basketball teams will be held on Monday, October 29th and Tuesday, October 30th from 3:45 to 5:45 in the west gym. Athletes must have a current physical as well a completed Athletic Permit Card turned in before try-outs. Any question see Coach Collins or Coach Daniel.

LHS - LHS is proud to announce it's 10th Anniversary of the Orange and Black Alumni Basketball Events. Saturday, November 10th at Lanphier High School in the Lober-Nika Gymnasium. Start time is 6:00. Admission $5.00 adults and $3.00 for students/children.

Picture Retake Day - Retakes are Monday, October 15. If you were absent, forgot your portrait money, need a retake, or didn't buy portraits or want more, this will be your last chance to have your picture taken for the 2012-2013 school year. FOR RETAKES - Be sure to return your original portraits. TO PURCHASE NEW PORTRAITS - Pick up a flyer in advance from the Main Office or Room 313. Please remember you need to have a picture taken for a school ID even if you are not ordering pictures.

Yearbook - It's time to order your yearbook! Our Fall Campaign is underway. Jostens mailed information home regarding the sale of the 2012-2013 Lan-Hi. Simply return the form along with your method of payment to Jostens or go to Jostens.com to order your copy today. Reason #10 to buy a yearbook...It's going to be awesome...(Duh.)

Scholastic Bowl - Will meet for practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Please make it to at least one practice a week. Practice will begin immediately after school until approximately 4:45.

Spirit Club - Will be holding a T-shirt design contest for the upcoming Basketball Season. We are in need of 3 shirts, 1 grey, 1 black, and 1 orange. Any student or faculty member may participate. Shirt designs will be turned into Ms. Kern in room 245 by October 17th. Spirit Club will vote on the 3 winning designs at their next meeting. The 3 winners will receive their shirt for FREE!

PSAT - All students who are registered for the PSAT test should plan on attending a very important PSAT meeting today. The meeting will take place in the SMALL COMMONS during 6th hour Enrichment period. Registered students should see Ms. Vogt in Rm. 114 with any questions!

Chemistry Club - There will be a meeting after school today in Mr. Peeler's room, 126C.

Mega detentions are now to be served in the library.

SUL Robotics Team - Will meet every Thursday in room 104. Any students interested in robotics, engineering, web design, tons of fun should visit room 104 directly afterschool on Thursdays. Paper work for robotics can also be picked up and returned to room 104 during the school day.

Hair and Nails Club - Would you like strong, shiny, healthy hair and nails like you see on TV and in magazines??? Do you want to learn how have hair like the stars? Then join the Hair and Nails club where you can learn all this and more! The hair and nail club meets every Monday afterschool in room 104. Sign-up for hair and nails club is available in room 104 during the school day!

STAND up for students! There is a Tutor Training in Room 104 today during A & B lunch. Bring your lunch to Room 104. This is for students who want to be Tutors to other LHS students. STAND up for students!

Art Club - Will be held on Monday, October 15th right after school in Ms. Jurgens' room.
