There is a sign up sheet outside room 43 for Spanish Club members who wish to run for a Spanish Club office for the 2019-2020 school year. Elections will be held Monday, May 20th in room 43.

 

STUDENTS & STAFF:  All vending machines for drinks and snacks are now on a computerized timer.  Reminder change for students is only available during the same times.  Students should not be out of class to get change or go to vending machines.

 

The Lanphier Boys Soccer team is looking for some new players.  If you are athletic and in good shape, even if you don’t have much experience with soccer, there is room for you on the team this fall.  If you are willing to work and can be a team player, come on out.  Stop by Coach Casey’s room, room 235, between classes or after school to give him your contact information." 

 

May 8th marks the first ever Lanphier Jazz Night

Come support the Lanphier Lion's Pride and Jazz Band as they host a night of music and rhythm with special guests "the Sound Four" and "The Land of Lincoln Chorus".  Enjoy a dessert and a show for only $5.00 per person on May 8th at 6:30p.m. in the LHS large commons.  Be there or be square!

 

 

Attention ALL Seniors: The next Senior meeting will be on Thursday, May 9th. This will be the day cap and gowns are being distributed. You will NOT receive your cap and gown if school fees and Jostens fees are not paid in full, including athletic fees.

 

Prom is Saturday May 11th at Erin’s Pavillion from 7 pm – 10 pm. Prom is a formal event for juniors and seniors.  Tickets will go on sale at Lanphier during this week.  Tickets are:  $25 a person and $40 a couple at school; $30 a person and $50 a couple at Erin’s Pavilion.  Cash only!

Females must have appropriate coverage without excessive skin showing.  Any dress with cut outs, or areas that expose the middle of the body, must have a wrap or sweater to cover.  NO JEANS OR DENIM.

 

Any guest must be under 21 years old and must have a signed guest form.  Guest forms are in the Academic Center with Mrs. Brooks.  They must be turned into Mrs. Brooks no later than 3:32 pm on Wednesday, May 8th.  NO LATE FORMS will be accepted.  All approved guests must present the prom ticket or a picture ID upon entry.  If you plan on being picked up, please make sure your ride is there promptly at the conclusion of prom.  Please see Mr. Metzke or and administrator with any questions.

 

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  ALL library books are due Friday, May 10th and book checkouts stop for the school year on Friday, May 10th.  Students that do not return their books by this date will be charged a replacement fine for the costs of the book.  Please see Mrs. Corcoran if you have questions.

 

Order your yearbook before we sell out.  They are $65 and can be purchased in the Main Office.  They will be delivered mid May.
