There will be an organizational meeting for this year’s Drama Club on Friday, 8/30 after school until 5:00 in Mr. Wilson’s room 245. We will discuss news for this year as well as this year’s production. If you are interested in being a part of the most dramatic and comedic club at Lanphier, please plan to attend.”
FRIDAY is the last day to get parking permits during lunch. After Friday, they may be purchased from Mr. Metzke in room 250 BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL.
Permits are $40 cash and proof of insurance. The parking lot and parking space will be assigned to the student this year. Permits are mandatory. Enforcement of permits begins after August 30th. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Lions, mark your calendars! Sign Language Club is coming to Lanphier on Tuesday, September 3rd. We will meet from 3:30 to 4:15 in room 143. Be sure you have transportation home. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Galusha or Mrs. Cooper.
Attention Students: Picture Day is Thursday, September 5th. Come get your picture forms in the Main Office before or after school. You are required to have your picture taken this year. They are on the counter.

The PSAT/NMSQT®, also known as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, is a version of the SAT exam. ... The PSAT/ NMSQ tests your skills in reading, writing, and math.
PSAT/NMSQT test is open to students who are currently Juniors this year that would like their scores to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship competition.
If you would like to sign up to take this exam, students may take the $17 registration fee to Mrs. Hedges in the North office by September 11th. NO LATE REGISTRANTS CAN BE ACCEPTED.

Attention Seniors: If you are wanting to graduate early, there is a sign up sheet in the academic center with Mrs. Brooks. Please sign up and Mr. Caton will begin calling students down to meet with him beginning Monday, September 9th. Please sign up on your own time, there will be no late passes given if you are tardy to class.
Pink out game will be on Friday, September 27, 2019. Order forms for t-shirts are in the main office. Shirts are available in pink or grey, starting at $10. Deadline is September 11.

It is that time of year!! The softball team’s Chicken Dinner fundraiser is coming up. The team will be selling Nelson’s Chicken Dinner tickets. Tickets are $10 for half a chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy corn and a roll. What could be better….good food and you don’t have to cook. The dinner will be September 30 from 330-6 in the Gardner Wrestling Gym.
