Apr 29, 2013 We have completed our preliminary evidence review, and group report from the Paranormal Club investigation in Lincoln Theater, Decatur Il. Paranormal Club Investigates R Theater

Feb 1, 2013 Thirty students from the Lanphier Paranormal Club ascended upon the Haunted R Theater in Auburn last night for an investigation at one of Central Illinois most popular "Haunts". The students broke into 4 groups and used equipment like EMF detectors, digital cameras, thermometers, gaussmeters, lazer lights,and audio recorders in an attempt to capture activity. Robbin Terry Speaks to Paranormal Club

Jan 24, 2013 Robbin Terry is a busy man! He owns his own insurance company specializing in classic cars ( Midwest Classic Inurance), is active in youth sports, drives and ambulance, and is very active in the paranormal community, just to mention a few things! We appreciate the time he took to visit Lanphier High School. Robbin owns the Haunted R Theater in Auburn and actually lives there. The R theater is a popular Halloween desitination in the fall with a haunted attraction in the basement. READ MORE

"Ghost Magnet" Presents at Lanphier Paranormal Club Meeting

Dec 14, 2012 Laura RIchter known as the "Ghost Magnet" presented at the last club meeting of 2012. Laura is an independent investigator who works with a variety of paranormal groups. Paranormal Club Welcomes Larry Wilson and David Lowery

Nov 30, 2012 The students of the Lanphier Paranormal Club have been fortunate to have two heavy hitters in the regional paranormal scene take time out of their busy schedules to talk to the students, giving them tips and showing evidence. Larry Wilson spoke at the November 8th meeting and played several evps (electronic voice phenomen) for the students. He showed how playing some of the recordings backwards can yield some interesting results. Larry is getting ready to publish his second book. READ MORE

Paranormal Club takes part in Historical and Haunted "Dead Walk""

Oct 4, 2012 Thanks to Garrett Moffet and Dana Quinn, of Springfield Walks (www.springfieldwalks.com) for giving the Lanphier Club students a special downtown Dead Walk tour. The 20 plus students started the tour in front of the Lincoln-Herndon Law offices and made their way around the Old Capital Building, through the Lincoln National Park sights, before ending the tour at the Virgil Hickox House (1839). Dana Quinn Captives Lanphier Paranormal Club Members

Sep 21, 2012 Dana Quinn founder of Night Hawk Paranormal and a former lead investigator for Springfield Ghost Society presented at the LPC meeting held Thursday Sept. 20. LHS Paranormal Club off to huge start.

Sep 8, 2012 The Paranormal Club held it's first meeting Thursday September 6th. There were 70 students in attendance for the first meeting! Students from last year spoke to the newcomers, and the club members were shown activities from last year including student investigation reports, and evidence from investigations. The club will begin investigations Monday and Tuesday at the historic Virgil Hickox House in Springfield. READ MORE
