Apr 24, 2013 We were able to enjoy meals from a list of about 10 different entrees. We drank Coke products, and took pictures of the delicious meals that we ate. We toured the marvelous American Harvest kitchen. World Book Night 2013

Apr 23, 2013 World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books, which was created to encourage people across America to spread the joy and love of reading. It is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. Lawrence Education Center will join tens of thousands of readers across the nation when we give out free World Book Night paperbacks. Plant a Tree with LEC!

Apr 15, 2013 Springfield, Illinois - Lawrence Education Center will distribute trees to students in order to celebrate Earth Day. During the event, students will be educated about trees and how they help the environment. The trees will be given to students along with a postcard to give back to the Lawrence Education Center that will mark the location of where the trees are planted. Mar 13, 2013 Our class got the opportunity to take a field trip to MJ Kellner. We got to prepare our lunch using their kitchen. We prepared, grilled chicken, Italian pasta salad, Kriss-cut FFs, and yummy chocolate chip cookies. Delicious and a very fun learning experience.
