Braided Behavior Support System
At Lee we use a braided approach to supporting students, combining all that we have built as a school culture while learning even more ways to make our school a safe and productive learning environment.
We continue to be a PBIS school and use CPI techniques for crisis management, but we have also incorporated the BIST framework along with an initiative to improve our restorative practices.
All of these efforts are combined into what District 186 calls the Braided Behavior Support System (BBSS), a comprehensive approach to supporting students so that they can learn.
