38 minutes ago Robert was from the Illinois Central Blues club. He is a finalist in a world-wide competition. We were lucky to have him come and celebrate no referral students. The kids were able to dance and sing along with him. It was a true treat!
Dec 20, 2017 Mrs. Williams shared her Kwanzaa knowledge with students in Kindergarten through Second Grade. She taught the students about the 7 principles. She read several books about Kwanzaa as well.
Dec 15, 2017 Grades 3-5 and our Life Skill students entertained many families and students with holiday songs. We even had a student perform a solo!! Thank you to our music teachers: Sam Telford and Mary von Liski!! Kudos to you for an enjoyable performance.
Dec 15, 2017 Students who were referral free were able to join in and make their own magical Winter tree. They had fun putting icing on an ice cream cone and adding holiday sprinkles. Great Job everyone!!
Nov 21, 2017 We were able to welcome families of K-2 students, community members, and district personnel to join us for a feast. The guest were also able to view many multicultural books that were donated to our school.
Nov 16, 2017 Students were able to see a special magic show with Richard Landry and Snowball. Richard always delivers a fantastic show that keeps the students entertained. He also provides a wonderful message around respect and kindness.
Oct 24, 2017 Tooth Wizard and Plaque Man with Delta Dental came to entertain and educate Lee School students about dental health. The Tooth Wizard shared the magical powers of brushing and flossing to chase away the villainous Plaque Man, the cause of cavities and bad breath.
Oct 24, 2017 On October 23, The Tater Tots played a super fun and engaging show at Lee School for their monthly Referral Free celebration. Kids of all ages had a wonderful time joining in songs about colors, dinosaurs, Pete the Cat and yellow submarines, just to name a few.
