21 hours ago Students at Lee School brought pennies to donate for popcorn. They brought baggies full of pennies to support the Sangamon County Kids Bicentennial Campaign to obtain documents that Abrahan Lincoln could begin his career as a lawyer in Springfield.

Apr 9, 2018 Students were able to choose a spot for independent reading time around Lee School. The students choose from any classroom, library, teacher's lounge, Mr. Bob's office, gym, conference room and office area. Students loved the opportunity to go to new places to read.
Mar 12, 2018 One of the many ways Lee School celebrated Black History Month was by gathering to highlight African-American heroes that have changed the world. The K-2 classes held a "Movers and Shakers" event on March 2nd.
Mar 12, 2018 A Big 'Thank You!' to the Lakeside Christian Church's Youth Group and staff at Lee School for raking up leaves and sweet gums balls for us on Saturday. The grounds look great!

Feb 20, 2018 Lee Students that were "referral free" for the month were able to participate in our February Celebration Friday! Students painted a rock for our landscaping out front, picked out a free book to read and enjoyed a snow cone!
Jan 23, 2018 Robert was from the Illinois Central Blues club. He is a finalist in a world-wide competition. We were lucky to have him come and celebrate no referral students. The kids were able to dance and sing along with him. It was a true treat!
