Jan 9, 2015 Changes are here for our annual state assessment. In the past, students took the ISAT each year in March, which provided a snapshot of student learning. However, with Illinois adopting the Common Core State Standards, Illinois raised expectations about what our kids must learn and be able to do to be ready for life in the real world. We needed assessments that would be aligned with the expectations of Illinois’ new learning standards. READ MORE

Jul 28, 2014 This year all district 186 students will be dismissed from school one hour early every Wednesday. Teachers will be using this time to collaborate and improve teaching and learning. This will result in four additional days of student instruction this year. Wednesday-only SCOPE is available for a small fee.

Apr 7, 2014 On Thursday all of our students received a Lee School t-shirt courtesy of Green Family Stores and a generous donor. We are so excited to see our Lions ROAR! Each Friday will be spirit day, when all students and staff are encouraged to wear their school shirts.
Sep 24, 2013 We need you! We here at Lee are looking for responsible and caring volunteers who would like to help out during lunch and recess time. Students enjoy the freedom of recess but often need an adult to remind them of our expectations. We appreciate anyone that is willing to help out, even if it is only for one day a week! Our recess/lunch block runs from 11:45 - 12:55, if you can help out any time in that block it would be fantastic. READ MORE
