Black History Month | Authors

February 26, 2013

Today's Black History video is about American writers, poets, and playwrights in the United States. Make sure you have about 5 minutes to devote to watching it today. There are a lot of great authors from which to choose!

Today's question:
1. Name one author and their work that seems like something you may want to read.

BONUS 1: Find Mrs. Wickham and ask her which novel on this video is her all-time favorite book in the whole world!

BONUS 2: Visit the library and ask Mrs. Vanderwater about some of these books!
