2) It was burned down and his father died two years later which caused his mother to be put into a mental institute and sent her children, including Malcolm, to be put in an orphanage where he became a great student until he told his high school teacher he wanted to be a lawyer and that's when Malcolm Little became Malcolm X.
3) He committed to the Nation of Islam but soon turned away once he found out what Elijah Muhammad was doing behind closed doors. He called him out in public which angered some of the followers this caused him to be shot 15 times by three gunman while giving a speech at Audubon Ballroom. He was pronounced dead at arrival to the hospital.
