A Black Panther is a U.S. African-American militant party. Women had guns and stood outside, and men cooked breakfast for the children. They wore black clothing, but not everyday. Most likely the women and some men had a afro with a hat on. They treated them poorly, they had gun battles, sprayed them with water hoes. Also, the white police were out to kill them everyday because they didn't like them. At 34 seconds Stokely Carmichael was speaking to a crowd of people. Black Panthers were formed in 1966 in California. It was formed because of the nonviolent campaign for Martin Luther King Jr. The founders of the Black Panthers was Huey Percy Newton and Bobby Seale. They were willing to use violence to get what they wanted.
