4. It is both sickening, and assuring. I am glad that he is doing what most of the people wanted him to do, (his job, and standard) consequently though, it is sad that he wants to restrict access for people who only wish to learn.

BOUNS: I think that this is a very sad part of our history. It shows that some people didn't care, they believed what they thought was right and didn't see that everyone was equal, and everyone deserved the same rights.

BONUS: I think that it was an unfair reaction, and that he made it such a big deal when it didn't need to be a problem at all.

The university of Alabama was the college that blocked students from entering the doors but after a while President Kennedy made the army make the state governor George Wallace move out of the way and let students in. The name of the first black student to enter the university is James Hood and he is followed into the office by Bivian Mallon the second black student to enter the university of Alabama.

3. James Hood and Vivian Maloan

Bonus- I believe that the governor did a great job to sticking to what he believed in and a great job continuing to standing up when everyone else did nothing to stop segregation in colleges and universities. Also I liked how his plan to continue to stay in front of the school even though president Kennedy ordered him to leave was wise.

 Raven P.   Thu, February 18, 2016

The University Of Alabama. John F. Kennedy was the president that ordered Gov. George Wallace to get out of the way and allow the students to enter. James Hood and Vivian Mulon were the first tow black students that finally entered the university once the National guard made the Gov. move. My thoughts on a state governor doing this and supporting segregation in collages and universities is a good thing because black and whites are now able to do things together and that they are both free and they now get to have the same freedom rights.

1. University of Alabama 2. John F. Kennedy 3. James hood & Vivian Malone 4. I don't like that he supported segregation because I think that all races should be treated equally. All blacks and whites should be treated as human and not be put separate in different schools and other places too. Blacks are also human too so they should be able to learn the same things as whites and no have to be put somewhere else.
