Today, Lincoln Magnet School received the National Blue Ribbon award for high performance from the United States Department of Education.
Only 304 schools in the United States were awarded Blue Ribbon awards this year, according to the Department of Education. Lincoln Magnet was one of 17 public and private schools statewide to receive the honor.
