Softball tryouts will be held on July 23 & 24 (not July 16 as previously posted) at the Southeast High School softball field. Tryouts will will be held 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tryouts are open to Lincoln Magnet and Springfield Ball Charter incoming 6th, 7th & 8th grade students. Girls should bring a glove and water bottle. Players may also bring their own equipment such as bats and catching gear. In addition, physicals will be collected. Any student trying out for an athletic team must have a current physical on file to be eligible to play. Please contact Mr. Hampsey with questions (champsey@springfield.k12.il.us).
