Our first meeting was a success!

Our first IMSA Fusion meeting of the school year was a huge success!

After students learned the starting procedures (snacks & opening activity), they participated in a get-to-know-you scavenger hunt. They spent thirty minutes seeking out other students who shared similar traits as themselves.

Next we began our first lesson, using the radiometer. Ask your student to explain what they observed as different kinds of light were shown on the radiometer.

To wrap up the day, we introduced students to the Problem of the Month. (The link for this activity is on the left-side of the IMSA home page.) We highly encourage students to solve the problem and submit an answer before the Oct. 28th deadline. A Barnes & Noble gift card is awarded to one IMSA Fusion student who submits a correct answer.
