Rain Barrel and 6th Grade crafts

Apr 19, 2013 We stayed after school on Wednesday to decorate our rain barrel which is to be placed on LMS property and used to water plants in the garden. We also created beautiful crafts that will be available for donations on the day of our culminating project!

"Live From Lincoln": Exploring the Global Water Crisis

May 22, 2012 Family and community members were invited to attend our performance. Cooperative groups demonstrated their knowledge about water using a talk show format. Student-generated scripts included various facts about the chosen region, inferential thinking, and reflective conclusions.

DNR Storm Water Run-off Tables

Mar 21, 2012 We were able to use two storm water run-off tables generously on loan from DNR. Matt Heyen and Tony Comerio, civil engineers from Hanson Engineering, came to share their expertise about floods and storm water and the how they affect our city.
