Pleasant Hill Farewell Reminder

May 21, 2013 Just a friendly reminder that Pleasant Hill will be hosting a "Farewell" party this Thursday, May 23rd from 4:30-7:00pm. Past principals and teachers, as well as current teachers, students, and parents are welcome to speak if they wish at 5:15 pm. We will have a number of old photos and memorabilia from the many years, as well as cake and ice cream. Please join us!

Pleasant Hill Families Welcome

May 15, 2013 The families of Pleasant Hill and Wanless Schools are invited to Feitshans Academy on Tuesday, May 21st from 5-7 pm. We will start in the auditorium at 5 pm. Mr. Colgren and Mrs. Fox will introduce themselves. Mr. Colgren will speak about the plans for the 2013-2014 school year. Then you will get to tour the building. After the tour, everyone is invited for refreshments in the cafeteria. Students will be able to pick out a free book for their home library. Buses will be available. READ MORE

Scholastic Book Fair at Feitshans Academy

Apr 29, 2013 Mr. Colgren has invited the students and staff of Pleasant Hill School to visit the Scholastic Book Fair at Feitshans Academy on Thursday, May 2nd. This event is hosted by their school's PTA. Pleasant Hill families are welcome to shop and tour the building between 5:00 and 7:30 pm. Please introduce yourself to Mr. Colgren.

After School Traffic

Apr 29, 2013 We are having a problem with after school traffic and we need your help to keep everyone safe. There are several cars that double park and then call their children to come out into the middle of the street to get into the car. Children are running out into the street, some running in front of other cars and between them. We don't ever want a child to get hurt and we must try our best to have everyone follow the rules so no one will get hurt. READ MORE

Morning at the Audubon

Apr 29, 2013 Please join us this Friday, May 3rd from 8:00-9:00 am at Adams Wildlife Sanctuary located at 2315 East Clearlake Avenue for a family event. May is Better Speech and Hearing Month and we are celebrating with a program called, "Talking about birds, bugs, plants, and animals." The morning will start with a free breakfast sponsored by our Title I family involvement fund and a presentation from a guest speaker at the Illinois Audubon (Adams Wildlife Sanctuary). READ MORE
