Ridgely's Mock Election Results

Nov 5, 2012 The students voted in each classroom today during a mock election. Each student received a ballot to vote for the candidate of their choice. The election results or Ridgely School are: 18% of the votes for Mitt Romney 82% of the votes for Barack Obama.

Red Ribbon Week & Poster Contest

Oct 22, 2012 Red Ribbon Week is designed to encourage kids to be drug-free. It will be held the week of October 22-25, 2012 and is a chance to be visible and vocal in our desire for a drug-free community. Research shows that children are less likely to use alcohol and other drugs when parents and other role models are clear and consistent in their opposition to substance use and abuse. READ MORE

2st Century Program Information

Aug 31, 2012 Ridgely School begins its second year participating in the 21st Century Program. Christi Walden is the Site Director. Please send back your students' applications and $15 yearly, enrollment fee at this time. 21st Century is an academically focused after school program open to all Ridgely students. The program begins on Monday, September 10. Your student will not be allowed to start without completed paperwork and parents must attend an orientation before their child can begin. READ MORE

Aug 30, 2012 Welcome back to another great year at Ridgely School! Attached you will find an order form for new Ridgely t-shirts and sweatshirts. Blake Harting from Freestyle Graphics, who is a former Ridgely student, designed the new logos. All order forms and money are due by Friday, September 28th. Rotary Volunteers and Recognition

Aug 28, 2012 The Downtown Rotary has been a faithful business to school partner with Ridgely School for decades. They have provided the school with over $50,000 in grant money over the years to fund various literacy initiatives as well as other goals targeted to improve Ridgely School for the students. Parent Conferences in February

Jan 22, 2012 The second opportunity for parents to communicate with teachers regarding student progress in the “conference day” format is fast approaching. One of the ways we have tried to accomplish this is by adding an additional Parent/Teacher Conference day to the calendar in February. 21st Century Begins at Ridgely
