What is F.A.C.E.?
F.A.C.E. stands for Family and Community Engagement. Springfield Public School District defines Family and Community Engagement as "school, family & community partnerships built on trust and meaningful communication that creates strong academic support systems for all students".
Join our F.A.C.E Team
Ridgely needs your voice, energy and time! The FACE team meets monthly and provides volunteers, funds, decision making and more! We come together to learn and set goals for the year to support student achievement.
Our Mission as a Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team at Ridgely Elementary School is to promote and encourage communicaiton between parents, teachers, administration, and the community.
FACE team meetings take place after school starting at 4pm on the first Tuesday of every month. Any community members, staff members and/or parents are welcome to attend.
With your involvement in this group, you will have an important voice in assisting with your child's education and planning school-wide activities where families can support student achievement.
Each parent is asked to sign this agreement between the home and school on a yearly basis.
Interested parents from each school can also participate in the F.A.C.E. team at the district level. This is a great opportunity to bring back ideas from other schools to help your own school in supporting your school.
