Nursing Pipeline Preparatory Program, or NP3
Do you know a Springfield-area high school or junior high student who dreams of becoming a nurse?
The Nursing Pipeline Preparatory Program, or NP3, gives young people a head start into nursing careers and provides them with early mentors within the Springfield nursing community. The after-school program is sponsored by St. John’s College of Nursing in partnership with Springfield Public Schools District 186.
High school freshmen interested in a career as a nurse are invited to the Nursing Pipeline Preparatory Program (NP3), sponsored by St. John’s College of Nursing, St. John’s Hospital and District 186. NP3 places high school students alongside medical students and other professionals for a rigorous curriculum. The program introduces them to the field of nursing and exposes them to dozens of nursing career possibilities.
