The Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary part of the Air Force, is recruiting current high school students, including freshmen and sophomores. The Civil Air Patrol is a program that offers cadet programs, aerospace education, and emergency services. If you are interested in learning more, attend a meeting during A or B lunch today, August 30th in the College Room. You are welcome to bring your lunch to the meeting. Sign up to meet with the Civil Air Patrol in the College Room today!

All girls interested in playing basketball there will be a short meeting in the gym after school today, August 30th.

Girls’ basketball players will be selling Popeyes fried chicken during A and B lunches in the commons on Friday for $5.00 a box.

Attention Spartans!! Spartacups Cafe will officially reopen for the year next Tuesday, Sept. 4th. Spartacups is open Monday - Friday 7:45- 8:15 a.m. in the library! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and hot cider will be available. Come in and let your morning brew!
The first annual Spartan Battle of the Books is coming!! Put your team of 5 people together, register in the library with Mrs. Pennington, start reading and get ready to ROCK the Battle of the Books in February 2013!!

Seniors, the start of your LAST year at Southeast is a good time to think about NEXT year, so start the year off right by visiting the College Room. It is ALMOST scholarship time! If you plan to go to college to become a teacher or are interested in scholarships for teachers, get more information on the Golden Apple Scholars program from Ms. Carmien in the College Room.

Attention: anyone interested in being a part of Southeast High School’s Bleu Crew. There will be an informational meeting about games and t-shirts on Wednesday, September 5th in the library after school. If you have any questions please find Justice Collins.
