As of today any student that needs to enter the building before 7:50 will need a pass or be on a list at the front desk. You will not be allowed to enter the building for any reason if you do not have some type of pass verifying your entrance.

Please see Mrs. Laub in Room 206 to sign up for your senior picture! This is for all seniors who have not scheduled an appointment through Grussenmeyers/Class Acts. They will be here on September 27th. There is a $15 sitting fee.

Homecoming is just around the corner. If you are bringing a date from another school, you MUST complete a date request form. The forms are now available in the main office. They are today to the main office...no exceptions!!!

The following sports will have their individual/team pictures taken at the following date and time:
Today, September 19 - golf pictures – 3:45 – Bunn Park
Thursday, September 20 - Soccer pictures - 4 PM - Lee Field
Monday, September 24 - tennis pictures - 3:45 - tennis courts
Tuesday, September 25 – cross country - 3:45 PM - by pool

Attention students:
Illinois state law requires a physical exam with up-to-date immunizations for 9th grade and any new student to the district that has not had a physical within the last year. If yours has been completed, please turn it into the nurse or guidance office ASAP! Exclusion letters will be mailed home soon to students who are not in compliance and you will not be able to come to school as of October 15. Students who have scheduled appointments after October 15th will still be excluded from attending school. All required information is due to the school before a student can return from exclusion.

Homecoming Tickets are on sale today in the commons during both lunch shifts. Tickets are $10!

Calling all Spartan fans! There will be a tailgate party for our Homecoming game Friday September 21st. There will be free food, games, music, and fun! The class with the most people will win a free five-minute pass to lunch on an assigned day!

Do you love to perform your favorite songs, but can't hold a tune in a bucket. Today is your lucky day! The "Sensations" choir will be holding a Staff and Student Lip Sync contest next month. Get together with your friends and start putting together your best dance routines and air guitar to compliment a performance of your favorite song. Sign-up anytime on Thursday, September 20th, in the choir room. Your routine doesn't have to be complete at that time, but you should present judges with the concept, music, and a short preview of what you plan to present. Represent your click and support your school. We hope both teachers and students will turn out for this fun-filled event.

The US Army Springfield Recruiting Company will be in attendance at this Friday's game against the Glenwood Titans giving away two tickets to this Sundays matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and The Jacksonville Jaguars. Only Seniors and Juniors will be allowed to participate in this raffle, and you must bring ID to register.

They will also be at the tailgate party with a Hummer loaded with music, and a 47 inch TV, giving away Army swag for the price of some pushups and pull-ups. Come join the U.S. Army in the fun as they help support our Southeast Spartans.

Attention Varsity Scholastic Bowl team members — practice will be held on Thursday, September 20, after school in Room 118. This practice is for varsity only.

Anime Club will be this Thursday in room number 114 from 3:30 to 4:45.
