The Illinois State Board of Education is accepting applications for the Student Advisory Council. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible to apply. Applications are due May 31, 2019, at 5 PM. Please stop in the main office to pick up an application.
Attention all Juniors and Seniors who are interested in welding, plumbing, HVAC, and pipefitting!!! A union representative will be here tomorrow to talk about the trades, schooling and job outlook. Sign up in the college room to learn more about welding, plumbing, HVAC, and pipefitting.
The Frontiers scholarship is now available in the college room. If you are Senior going to college that is involved in the community and extracurricular activities, stop by the college room to pick up an application.
Student Council forms are now available in the main office. If you want to get involved and make a difference at Southeast, please consider running! All forms are due to the main office by Friday, May 17. There will also be a short meeting Friday after school for all those who turn in forms! Any questions, please see Mrs. Barcik in Room 212.
This week is AVID Recruitment week: Wednesday and Thursday during both
lunch shifts there will be a table set up for any students interested in joining the program. On Friday, we are asking all staff and students to wear college gear!!
In addition, the winners of the college and career readiness door decorating contest will receive a pizza party next week!
Any student that is still interested in trying out for next year’s show choir, and missed auditions on Saturday, please see Ms. Brink in room 161 today.

Congratulations to the boys track team for their 7th place finish at the CS8 conference meet on Friday. All-conference award winners include both David Emuze and Wesley Stephens. The Spartans are back in action on Friday for the sectional meet at Memorial Stadium.

21st Century Tutoring is available in the library, Monday through Thursday from 3:30-5:30. On Wednesday from 2:30 – 5:30.
