This week is AVID Recruitment week: Wednesday and Thursday during both lunch shifts there will be a table set up for any students interested in joining the program. On Friday, we are asking all staff and students to wear college gear!! In addition, the winners of the college and career readiness door-decorating contest will receive a pizza party next week!
Student Council forms are now available in the main office. If you want to get involved and make a difference at Southeast, please consider running! All forms are due to the main office by Friday, May 17. There will also be a short meeting Friday after school for all those who turn in forms! Any questions, please see Mrs. Barcik in Room 212.
The Illinois State Board of Education is accepting applications for the Student Advisory Council. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible to apply. Applications are due May 31, 2019, at 5 PM. Please stop in the main office to pick up an application or see Mrs. Metz for information.
Lincoln Land Community College’s many health care career programs will be showcased at the Health Care Expo on Thursday, May 23, from 6-8 p.m. beginning in the Trutter Center. Prospective students are invited to learn about the wide variety of health care degree, certificate and short-term program opportunities. The event will include tours of LLCC’s health professions labs along with displays, presentations and opportunities to speak to health care program directors and obtain information on applying for admission. Please register online at llcc.edu or stop by the college room to register.

21st Century Tutoring is available in the library, Monday through Thursday from 3:30-5:30. On Wednesday from 2:30 – 5:30.
