Tonight's the Night!

Join the fun tonight and Saturday night at 7 p.m. The evening begins with the premiere of a short commercial produced by Mrs. Hoyt's Sports and Entertainment Marketing class. After that, make your own debut on stage with the cast of "How to Kill a Mockingbird" as they guide you through a series of improv games. Take a break and come back for the hilarious "How to Kill a Mockingbird" starring DeAris Logan, Nick Haley, Jordan Stelivan, Kaylynne Beck, Emily Brodt, Sebastian Hadley-Ives, Erin Taylor, Gariel Pierce, Julia Mitchell, and Anne McAllister. Admission price is $4 for students and $6 for adults. Children under 6 are our guests. See you at the show!


How to Kill a Mockingbird, Nov. 9 & 10

As promised, here's Trenisha and her original drawing alongside the sign created by Ed Fliege of Ace Signs. Join us next weekend at 7 p.m. for the debut of "How to Kill a Mockingbird."

Congratulations to Trenisha Robinson for winning the Drama Club art contest! Watch for the design based on Trenisha's original drawing on promotional materials for the fall play. For her talent and efforts, Trenisha wins a pair of tickets to "How to Kill a Mockingbird" and a T-shirt featuring her design.

Drama Club Art Contest

Attention Artists: Drama Club is holding an art contest. Interested? We are looking for a design to use on our programs, T-shirts, and other promotional materials.

Here are the elements you should include in your entry:
BIRDS, BOOKS, and COFFEE
Oh yeah, and it’s a comedy.

Submit your design to Mrs. Paige in room 110 by Thursday, October 25. We will announce the winner on morning announcements October 29. If your design reigns supreme, you will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to the play and a free T-shirt featuring your masterpiece.

Performances begin at 7:00 on Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10.

Rehearsals start Tuesday, October 2, 2012. For the first week, we meet in room 110 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We move to the auditorium the following week (October 8-12) and rehearse Monday-Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is our usual weekly schedule. Friday practices are added after football season ends, October 26, and run from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or as needed.
