Sign up for this year’s version of High Pride with Coach Reed in the Commons, Wednesday, at lunch. It is $10 to join and that includes a T-shirt. There will be a free tailgate this Friday at Memorial Stadium at 5 PM before our first football game of the year against Lanphier. Free hot dogs will be provided. A bags toss competition will occur. Hope to see you there.

Current NHS members- Welcome back! The first NHS meeting is this week in the library on Thursday, August 23, promptly at 2:30. Please bring something to write with.
There is a current volunteer opportunity to babysit kids at Vachel Lindsay for one hour on August 28th and 30th, and September 5th and 13th. 6 students are needed each night. Please see Mrs. Ruedin or Mrs. Taft to sign up.

Attention Baseball Players- There will be a short meeting Wed. after school in the cafeteria for any young man interested in playing in the fall wood bat league on Sundays. That's Wed. after school in the cafeteria if you are interested in playing baseball on Sundays. See Coach in room 166 if you have any questions.

Hey Freshmen! If any of you are interested in running for class officers or student council or both, there is a mandatory meeting this Thursday, August 23 before school, during lunch, and after school outside the auditorium. Hope to see everyone there.

ID & School pictures for all students and staff will be this week.
Thursday, August 23 all underclassmen and staff will be photographed in the auditorium.
Friday, August 24 all Seniors and remaining staff will be photographed in the morning for their ID’s.
Extra picture packets are available in the Main Office.

Attention all students: PE uniform order forms are available on the school website. Orders will be accepted until Friday and should be turned in to room 169. The order will be placed on Aug. 27th and the clothing items should be available for pick-up on Sept. 4th. If you placed an order, you should wear black shorts and a white shirt for PE until they arrive. If anyone has questions, please see Ms. Greco in room 169.

Attention all students: SHS Planners for 2012-2013 can be purchased for $5 in room 169. Please see Ms. Greco if interested in purchasing one.

Any remaining Senior and any Junior who wishes to purchase a parking pass may now sign up for the parking lottery is now available to sign up for in the main office.

A Few Reminders
- We will be on a 60-minute early dismissal schedule all work.
-Zero hour began today - Tuesday, August 21st. Before school you are only allowed in the annex, cafeteria or commons.
-CACC students are reminded that CACC started today and the AM bus leaves from Lewis St at 8:20 AM and the afternoon bus will leave from Lewis St at 12:40 PM.
-If students would like to see their Guidance Dean or Assistant Principals regarding their schedules, they are to sign up in the Guidance office during passing periods or during their lunch NOT during class time.
