The Girls golf season isn't over yet. Alax Floyd and Kristin Cullen competed in sectionals yesterday, where Alax Floyd advanced to State placing 3rd out of 112 girls. Good luck this weekend Alax.
Yesterday at Hickory Ridge in Carbondale, the Boys golf team's season came to an end as their team score of 313 wasn't quite good enough to advance to the state finals. Freshman Bailey Gill's 77 led the Senators, with sophomore Sam Funderburg coming in with an 80. All four seniors played well in their final high school round, with Mitchell Connolley carding 78, the two Jack's, Campas and McCarthy both shooting 79, while Max Lister rebounded after an awful start to end with an 82. Congratulations on a great 4 years at SHS.
