Good morning Springfield High! Today is Monday, November 27, 2017

 

Attention: All 10th and 11th graders. If you haven’t taken Behind the Wheel and would like to do so, please stop by Room 128 and see Ms Dvorak at the beginning of your lunch shift.

 

"Are you interested in the medical field? If so, the Pre-Health Club is meeting today in room 521 after school. Come to meet with Charlene Aaron, Chancellor of St. John’s College of Nursing, and learn about her experiences and accomplishments in medicine. Contact Ellie Thomson for more information."

 

 

Seniors interested in the Senate Page Program must complete an application. Applications are in the guidance office on Yellow Paper. Applications are due to Mrs. Devlin or Mr. Schurman by December 5. We will not accept any late applications.

 

The Lady Senator basketball team won a pair of games on Friday by beating Rockford East 54 to 49 in overtime and East Moline 64 to 51. In the Rockford East game, Maya Fetter and Savannah Schoeben each scored 14 points. In the nightcap against East Moline, Ozzy Erewele scored 18 points and Maya Fetter added 17. Next up for SHS is an away game Thursday at Decatur MacArthur.

 

"If you would like a sign language club t-shirt for only 10$, grab an order form from either Andrew Holliday or Clare Anders. Order forms and money are due today! You can drop your money and form off in the commons after school today or tomorrow!"

 

Class of 2019 is selling Skyzone tickets for an hour of bouncalicious  fun, only $10 dollars a discount from the usual price. Order tickets from Zoe Nielson, Sasha McDonald, Erin Gheen, and Jack Gremer . You have until December 1 and we only have 100 tickets

 

Attention SHS! Counting down the days until Christmas? Let German Club help you and sweeten up the long days of waiting. We are selling German Advent calendars filled with fine German chocolate for $4 each. If you would like to purchase one or more for you, your family or friends, please talk to a German Club student or to Herrn Koeppel in room 250. But hurry, there is only a limited number of calendars available.

 

"Attention SHS, the time has come for this years city t-shirt ideas! Send all sketches to a student council officer, Troike, or Kramer today.
