Good morning Springfield High! Today is Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

Attention Seniors - Last day to order cap and gown is tomorrow.  Jostens will be in the commons during both lunch shifts.

Seniors Only - If you have met the exam exemption policy for semester I  (4 or fewer absences per period/with no unexcused absences, grade of B or better-with no discipline/suspensions).

Please stop by guidance office 104 and pick up exemption forms.  All forms must be turned in by Friday at 4:00 to Mr. Schurman.

Freshmen - If you ordered apparel it is in. There will be a table set up in the commons during both lunch shifts today, tomorrow and Thursday for you to pick up your order.

Nurse Kim would like to remind all students & staff that flu season is upon us, and she wants to make sure everyone stays healthy all the time, but especially for finals, and the holidays. Did you hear the joke about the flu?  I’m not telling you, I don’t want to spread it around!  Other than my bad joke, here are a few other ways to prevent spreading it around: Flu shots are still available at most local pharmacies, your physician’s offices, and health department, these are NOT required, but highly recommended.  Also if you have a fever over 100.4 please stay home, always remember to cough into your elbow rather than your hand, and the most effective way of preventing the flu is frequent hand washing!

Fall play DVD’s are still available for order!  The deadline is tomorrow!  DVDs are $10 each and any questions or orders please talk to Teresa Lograsso.

There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in Poetry Out Loud today after school in room 370.  If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Eaton.

Atención Spanish Club members! Spanish Club will have a party on Thursday, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. If you plan on coming, please let Mr. Reichert know what you plan on bringing. We will have a taco bar, drinks, sides, and desserts. We will also be watching the movie 'Elf' in Spanish, and there will be other activities and games. Please see Mr. Reichert in room 260 for more information. Hope to see you there!"

We are still looking for a few more Senate Page applicants. If you are interested in applying see Mrs. Devlin in room 121 during your lunch shift.

"¡Atención Spanish Club! Please don't forget to order your Spanish Club T-shirt by the end of the week (December 15th). You can order the shirt through google classroom, but you have to pay either Mr. Reichert, Mrs. Armstrong, or Mrs. Hopper. Please see a Spanish teacher for more details.”

Would you please now rise for the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, Indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
