The Fresh/Soph boys Track and field team placed 2nd overall at last nights Fresh/Soph Open at Lanphier! Event champions for SHS were: Matthew Abe-Bell in the 100 and 400, and the 4x800 relay team of Ben Kim, Ankeith Guntupalli, Ian Kaisner and Grant Thompson. Great job boys!

The SHS Baseball Team played one of its better games in shutting out the Lions of Lanphier 13 to nothing in 5 innings. Will Reiser was the star of the game in pitching the whole way with 7 strikeouts while allowing only 2 hits. He also had 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s. He wasn’t the Lone Ranger though, as Jimmy Hollahan and Jacks Hyde also added 2 hits. The Solons have a chance to tie for second in City play today, weather permitting, in a 7p.m. rematch with LHS today.

The Lady Senator softball team shrugged off a slow start to top Lanphier 12-1 in 5 innings last night. Kira Brown, Jaden Long and Lauren Cozadd all had hits and RBI's to lead the way. Maddie Cleary recorded her 12th win of the year striking out 5 girls. Keep it going tonight, girls!
