Tonight at Lanphier your varsity football team is looking to secure it’s 3rd consecutive Superintendents Cup with a win over the Lions. The trophy goes to the best public city school in football and SHS has won it the past 2 years. The student section showed its high pride last week by braving the rain and rocking the stands all night against Chatham. We need you again this week. Players will be dressed in all white for the game and we are asking the student section to show up for a Hamptons style all white party in the stands. Be loud, be proud, and come out and show your school pride at 7:00 Friday.
Last night at Lincoln Greens, SHG closed out the Senators and won their 3rd straight city title. Austen Floyd and Aaron Evans both shot a 44, and Adler Boatman rebounded with a 39. But, Zach Richmond, shooting an even par 36, edged out the Cyclones Reid Taylor and took home Medalist honors for this year’s City. Congratulations Zach.
The volleyball girls lost a hard fought 3 set match last night. The team played an amazing match but came up short in set 3 25-22
