Good morning Springfield High! Today is Tuesday, November 27, 2018

Attention Seniors!! Jostens is coming to town, well actually the SHS Commons. Jostens will be here Tuesday, December 4th during both lunch shifts. Cap and Gown order forms are available in the guidance office. You must order a cap and gown if you are planning to participate in the graduation ceremony! 

SAVE THE DATE!  Saturday from 6-11 pm Sangamon CEO is hosting a Holiday Village at the state fairgrounds. This will include games, cookies, an appearance from Santa, a spooky haunted trail and so much more! It is fun for everyone! Tickets will be sold at both lunch shifts in the commons for $10.

The Capitoline Yearbook is on sale now at $60 a copy.  Bring your check, money order or cash to room 254.  In January, the cost is $70 a copy.

Seniors - Baby pics should be turned in by winter break, and senior portraits should be done by winter break.  Seniors, Grussenmeyer will be at SHS on December 5th and 12th from 2:30-5:00 to take senior portraits or you can call Grussenmeyer Photography at 787-6688 to set up a time to take senior portraits. 

If you are interested in being a Senate Page through the work program you can pick up an application from Mrs. Devlin in room 121 or in the guidance office on the counter. There will be applications posted outside Mrs. Devlin's office as well. Applications will be due to Mrs. Devlin by December 10th.

The Legacy theater is looking for volunteers to help with their Polar Express pajama party.  Stop by Mrs. Eaton’s room for more details.

Are you a junior or senior interested in enrolling in a solar panel class second semester?  Sign up in the guidance office.  

Achtung Achtung, German Club! If you would like to get our new German Club shirt for this year, please bring $5 and sign up in room 250 by Friday. 

Attention SHS! If you would like to purchase a German Advent calendar, please talk to a German student or see Herrn Koeppel in room 250. Each calendar is $4, but be sure you get your calendar before Saturday as the countdown until Christmas will begin. Thank you for supporting German Club.
