Attention sophomores: Jostens will be at SHS on Wednesday, February 6th during first period for a presentation for ordering class rings. All sophomore students should report to first hour for attendance, then move to the auditorium for the presentation. Jostens will be back the following week on February 12th and 13th to place orders during A and B lunch. Any questions, see Mrs. Lauer in guidance.
Juniors and Seniors if you qualify for National Honor Society by grades, your name will be on the list outside Rooms 326, 356, the Library, or the Main Office. You need to see Mr. Kramer in Room 326 in the morning, or 153 A, in the afternoon, to get information for applying. Applications will be due by February 11th.
The Junior Class is excited to invite everyone at SHS to the Sadie Hawkin's Dance which will be held February 9th from 8-10 pm in the Commons here at SHS. Tickets will be $10 a person and will go on sale the week of the dance.
Sign Club Meeting Information: February 4th; come and participate or observe signed stories, poems, and songs (you are encouraged to try and participate). February 11th; there will be a guest speaker, you won’t want to miss
It's Almost Valentines Day!! Show that someone special you care by sending them a flower. We will take orders for Carnation Flowers before school and during both lunch shifts in the Commons every day until Valentines Day. Each flower will cost $1.00. Flowers will be delivered on February 14th during 3rd and 5th hours. See Mrs. Devlin with questions.
Juniors - if you are interested in being in the work program next year see Mrs. Devlin or Mr. Koger for an application. There are also applications in the guidance office.
Seniors, scholarships opportunities are starting to come in. Ways you can be prepared: check school website, listen to announcements, be signed up for the class Remind account - if you aren't, the directions are outside of Mr. Kramer's office at 153A. Please stop by and let Mr. Kramer get you started on the process.
Current sophomores and juniors interested in CACC, listen up!! The CACC application is now open. If you are interested in applying for CACC next year, please see Mrs. Lauer or Mr. Kyes ASAP to register online. CACC programs are first come, first serve and they will go quickly! Make sure you register with Mrs. Lauer or Mr. Kyes today!!
Attention Baseball Players- The meeting scheduled for this past Wednesday will be held next Wednesday after school. Listen to next week's announcements for the location.
All Academic Challenge team members need to see Mr. Covey in Room 510 to get permission slips. We compete in the regional on Tuesday. There will be a short meeting after school on Monday to finalize things for Tuesday. If you cannot attend see Mr. Covey
