Anyone looking for volunteer hours? Mrs. Devlin is in need of 2-4 students to assist with busing tables at a dinner banquet. It will be an easy job as all place settings are disposable. See Mrs. Devlin in room 110 before school if interested.
Do you like paper? Do you like ice cream cake? If you said yes to either of these questions… apply for newspaper! Pick up an application in Ms. Negele’s room, 362, and turn in it by 3:30 today. You cannot enroll to be in the class if you do not apply and get accepted! If you have any questions, see Ms. Negele.
FREE T-SHIRTS FOR BLOOD DONORS!! Staff & Students 16 or older can donate blood to the Central Illinois Community Blood Center on Tuesday 8:30 am-2:00 pm, in the Bloodmobile (to be accessed thru the Commons). Students aged 16 must have a signed parental consent form. You must sign up during lunch in the Commons, before school or after school in the Guidance Office by 3:30 pm today. Please sign-up ASAP because once the form is filled, you will not be able to sign up. Teachers & Staff do not need to sign up, you can report to the Bloodmobile at your convenience. Capitoline Yearbooks are still on sale at $70 a copy. If you don't have the full amount, you can pay a portion to secure a yearbook for you. Make your check or money order out to Springfield High School or bring your cash to room 254.

Attention students and teachers! The SHS Photo Video Club is proud to present the first Solon Film Festival. Everyone is invited to this fun night, showcasing two student films and more. Come support the club today at 7:00 pm in the SHS auditorium. Witness our stars, Will Moffett, as a crazed old man, and Noah Deassuncao as a rubber ducky obsessed jerk. Bring your friends and family to this one night event! Admission is only two dollars per person.
Sign Club News- Last Sign Class on Monday May 13th (end of the year gathering) and the Field Trip to ISD is on May 15th.
On Tuesday, May 7, from 4:30pm-7:30pm, SHS Tennis will be hosting a Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A on Wabash Avenue. You must present the paper flyer or picture of the flyer on their phone for their order to count toward SHS Tennis. Thank you for your support.
