Feminist club! Great turn out last week, but we would love to see more of your faces! Our next meeting is Thursday right after school until around 4! Bring yourself and bring a friend!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have its first meeting tomorrow, from 6-7pm in the cafeteria. Kevin Elliot, the director of FCA in the state of Illinois, will be our guest speaker. There will also be pizza and a discussion of activities for the upcoming year. If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Lightfoot in room 330.
Would like to learn sign language? Come join the fun at Sign Language Club today from 3:30-4:30 in Room 362. Any questions, see Ms. Davis in Room 363 or Terrance Cypress. Hope to see you there. There will be a sign language/deaf culture event at Dew Chili Parlor (on Dirksen) at 6:00 pm on Monday and all sign club participants are welcome to join.

Congratulations to the JV volleyball team for winning the Lutheran tournament this weekend. 4-0. It was an amazing weekend. Undefeated for the season!
The cross country team competed in Peoria Notre Dame invite on Saturday at Detweiller Park. The F/S girl's team finished 27th out of 36 teams. Maddie Kim was top placer for SHS. The varsity girls team finished 57th out of 64 teams. Ella Kurmann was the top placer for SHS. Mia Barnes was the top finisher for SHS in girls JV race. The boys F/S team finished 9th out of 53 teams. Matthew Johnson was the top finisher for SHS. Kyle Boughter was top placer for SHS in the boys varsity race. Michael Natty was top finisher for SHS in the boys JV race.
The boys golf team placed 17th at the Dragon Classic. Peyton Woods had a 2 day total of 162. Jake Baldin followed with a 171 and Charlie Roberts had a 178. The boys are ready for the Washington Cup this week where they go head to head against SHG.
