Good morning Springfield High! Today is October 9, 2019

Clarification for Seniors and Senior Parents - if you want to be in the yearbook you have two choices:  either get your picture taken at school with Lifetouch OR get your senior portraits done with Kari Bedford photography before November 15th. If you have any questions please call Dr. Leardi at 525-3100.

School pictures retake date has been changed to November 18th.

Yearbooks are on sale for $70. You can purchase on www.yearbookforever.com.  Be sure to purchase now as the price will be up to $75 November 1st.

The SHS Choir Concert will be on Thursday at 7pm in the auditorium.  Come on out and hear some amazing music!

The Second Annual College and University Fair will be held at Union Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 15th  from 4:00-8:00 pm.  If you are interested in attending a Historically Black College or perhaps another state college please attend this event. If you have any questions please see Mr. Robinson.

Model UN will meet on Friday at 7:45 a.m. in the Commons and at 3:30 pm in Room 354. Please come to the meeting that fits in your schedule.

Students - FREE breakfast and lunch are available each school day. Please make sure that one of your items includes a fruit or vegetable. We serve the most lunches each day amongst the 3 high schools and would like to be #1 in serving breakfast as well! Breakfast and lunch menus are available online. Thank you for supporting our cafeteria staff!

The volleyball lost to Rochester 25-20 25-17 last night.

Attention SHS! Starting tomorrow we will be having 17 students and 2 teachers from our partner school in Germany visit us for the next three weeks. Please take a look at the bulletin board right outside room 250 to find out who they are. You might see them in the hallways or your classes. Please make them feel welcome. Thanks!

The boys soccer team lost a hard fought match to Rochester 2-1 last night, Ben Joens scored for the Senators.
