Mar 27, 2017 The class of 2018 is hosting an Olive Garden dinner party for $10 a person on Friday, March 31. You can even make it a dinner and a show if you plan to stay for the Swing into Spring concert. Olive Garden will be at SHS from 5-7 p.m. in the cafeteria. Dinner can be taken home, taken to the Commons or eaten in the cafeteria. Choice of pasta, salad and of course BREADSTICKS! Please support the the class of 2018 and “Mangia Bene”!
Mar 16, 2017 The Ragtime cast will be selling "Unity Ribbons" at each of the performances for $5. The proceeds will be donated to the Illinois Coalition of Community Services. The purpose is to support a local organization that is promoting unity in our own community. The two versions of the red, white and blue ribbons are displayed on this poster. READ MORE
Mar 15, 2017 Springfield High School is proud to present its spring musical “Ragtime – School Edition,” March 17-19 in the Schnirring Auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 19. We invite all to come and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic show! Mar 4, 2017 This past Saturday night at the 10th Annual Red & Black Gala, great things happened. Over 300 parents, teachers, administrators and friends of Springfield High had a fun evening giving and gabbing! This event, the largest fundraiser for ALL SHS extracurricular activities, was awesome! One special part of the evening is when we introduced the annual Fund-A-Project, a special need for the kids which asks for all attendees to dig just a little deeper. READ MORE
Feb 26, 2017 Congratulations to Craig Williams, II for being selected by the Springfield High School Booster Club as the 2017 Lehman Award recipient. Each year, the Booster Club awards this recognition to an individual who has made outstanding contributions in the area of extra-curriculars. Craig has has donated countless hours by directing the school musicals for the past eight years and touching the lives of over 800 students. Congratulations to Craig for this most-deserved recognition.
