Bremhorst taking track talent to Illinois

SPRINGFIELD - You don't always have to be a lifelong athlete to be a Division I athlete, and one runner from the capital city is proof of that. WCIA 3's Austin Kim introduces us to this quick learner, who has a bright future at the University of Illinois.

Boys Track & Field Winter Workout Info

Winter workouts are open to anyone who may be interested in competing for the boys track & field team in the Spring.

Workouts begin at 3:35 in the boys track & field locker room located in the South annex hallway.

Workouts end every night at 5.

Pole Vaulter and Shot, Discus Throwers will have an additional hour workout on Wednesdays from 5-6 PM.

Senators Boys Track & Field

2010: The SHS track team defended their city title winning their 2nd
title in a row. The 4x1, 4x2, and 4x800m relay teams all qualified for
the state meet as well as Titus Hughes in the high jump, Justin Lee in the
800, Michael Simon in the 1600, and Malik Harrison in the 400. The 4x800m
relay team won the state title and set the state record of 7:47.92. Titus
Hughes and Justin Lee also earned all-state honors.
