We are excited to offer Hour of Code badges for classrooms and schools. These badges can be posted on your website for the purpose of displaying your achievement. We have multiple badges to hand out depending on how many lines of code are written. If your class writes less than 300 lines of code, you can request a Participant badge. If your class writes 300 or more lines of code, you can request a badge based on the number of lines your class has written. You will be asked to create an Hour of Code photo gallery on your website displaying evidence of how many lines were written, or complete a short reflection for submission. We have placed a legend on the left side of our Hour of Code page showing the range the different colors of badges represent.
We have also created badges for the number of lines of code written school-wide. These school badges are pictured here. Tech Leaders need to calculate the total number of lines of code your school has written, complete the badge request form, and we will send along the appropriate badge to your principal.
