Attention WMS Science Club!  Ready for a roller coaster of an adventure?  In this months edition of Science Club will be designing, building, and testing our own roller coaster!  We will meet on Tuesday February 27 in room 221.  Remember you must sign up in advance in room 218. February 21st Announcements

Yesterday There is 7th grade tutoring tomorrow after school in room 208. Today’s Black History BINGO question is: This famous contemporary artist is known for her controversial silhouettes and created a giant sculpture out of sugar called "A Subtlety, or the Marvelous Sugar Baby". The answer is Kara Walker. If you have Kara Walker on your BINGO card, be sure to mark off and date the square. Remember to hold on to your BINGO card until the end of the month.  

February 20th Announcements

2 days ago Exciting News Track season begins next Monday.  Tryouts for the 7th grade will start Monday Feb 26th at 2:35 sharp.  You are to meet Coach Ruble and Coach Murr by the boys locker.  Tryouts for the 6th grade boys will be Tuesday Feb 27th at 2:35 sharp, and the 8th Grade boys tryouts will be held on Thursday March 1st.  Good luck to all the boys trying out for the track team next week. February 16th Announcements

6 days ago If you are attending the dance this afternoon, expectations for behavior will be the same as during the school day. Students will be told to leave the dance if issues arise and administrators and teachers will be chaperoning to enforce these expectations. Please show them respect as this is a fun event for our students and we want to continue to host dances in the future. These Brag Tag winners followed expectations inside and outside of the classroom. READ MORE

Feb 14, 2018 There is 7th grade tutoring tomorrow after school in room 208. Attention 8th grade students please remember to return your application for the Health and Science Academy by Feb.21, so they can be returned to Ms. Davis at Southeast High School. Last night Olympic history was made as Shaun White took the 100th Gold for the United States in snowboarding. READ MORE

Feb 13, 2018 The Gay, Straight, Alliance Club will meet after school tonight in room 114.  It will be a movie night so feel free to bring a snack and a drink.   The Olympics continue!  Watch tonight at 7p for the luge competion, men’s snowboarding and women’s hockey. The U.S. has now won  3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medal. READ MORE

Feb 12, 2018 The Gay, Straight, Alliance Club will meet after school on Tuesday February 13th in room 114.  It will be a movie night so feel free to bring a snack and a drink.   Once every four years the greatest athletes in the world assemble to compete in the Olympics.  The winter Olympics are going on now!  Watch and see who wins, who gets up to try even harder- the great ones never give up!  Never give up - make a plan to succeed.
