May 14th Announcements

May 14, 2019

  1. This Friday will be a $2 jeans day for students. Students may wear jeans this Friday after paying $2 in the morning during am breakfast. Students please be aware of the district policy when wearing jeans to school.

  2. 8th grade students, don’t forget this is the last full week to bring any grades up for the 8th grade carnival. Check your grades, check with your teachers, stay for tutoring tomorrow if you need work time or help!

  3. Your attendance still matters. Please continue to be present for school and on time for your classes. The prize patrol will be out to reward students for having good attendance. Also, the grade level with the best attendance will when a grade level redward at the end of May.

  4. Attention 8th graders that are interested in playing football at Lanphier next year.  Please come by the office to pick up important information about signing up for the football team.  It is important to pick up this information if you plan to play football at Lanphier next year.

  5. This week’s social goal: I can show responsibility for my work and grades. Students should be able to monitor their assignments and know their grades on a daily basis.

  6. Today, May 14th, will be the last day for sixth-grade tutoring.

  7. Yearbooks will be handed out this Friday to those students that have pre-ordered a copy.

  8. The library is closed this morning to enable spring photos to be taken.  It will re-open after lunch shifts.

  9. The top 40 Million Word Club members who are attending the Celebration Luncheon with the Mayor today are to meeting briefly in the cafeteria following these announcements.

  10. Attention 7th grade students. The end of the year field trip is quickly approaching. You have until FRIDAY to improve your grades in order to meet the requirements of the trip. Please turn in your permission slips by FRIDAY. See a language arts teacher for more information. (KEEP FOR WEDNESDAY)
